The VS1 system will be featured at the new storefront entrance of 5 Times Square. Key to this Gensler design is an integrated sunshade system that allows for an architectural expression of the building numbering while also maximizing daylight.
The VS1 system, through it's simple kit of parts, is able to achieve this complex design with a timeless aesthetic. This skin renovation modernizes the 5 Times Square building while converting it from office space to residential housing. Innovation Glass is honored to be a part of a project in Times Square, which has a profound cultural and economic role the city.
