VS1-A110 lobby facade and canopy; VS1 skylight at 4th story

Situated in the prominent Sector 16B of Noida, KP Towers stands as a LEED Gold-certified Grade A commercial office building and serves as the architectural cornerstone of the expansive 12.5-acre Delhi One Project. This striking development is a testament to cutting-edge engineering and sustainable design.

The building prominently features the VS1-A110 structural glazing system, extensively used for the entrance lobby façade and the double-height facades that wrap around the structure, providing a sleek and seamless exterior.

A major highlight is the innovative skylight at the fourth level of this 48-story skyscraper. Designed using the VS1 system, the skylight not only enhances the aesthetic and natural lighting but is also structurally adapted for Seismic Zone 5, one of the highest earthquake risk zones in India. The skylight has been meticulously engineered to accommodate differential building movements, ensuring both safety and longevity.

Key Specifications of the Skylight System:

  • Maximum Glass Panel Dimensions: 2200 mm (width) × 5800 mm (height)

  • Glass Type: Laminated Insulated Glass Units (IGUs) on both sides

  • Panel Weight: Each panel weighs over 870 kg

  • Design Integration: Achieved with a clean, seamless appearance, preserving the visual elegance of the structure

KP Towers exemplifies the fusion of structural innovation, sustainable design, and architectural finesse, marking a significant milestone in the skyline of Noida.
