37' (11.3m) VS1-A100 facade & terrace handrail

Construction of a new Gensler-designed data center is underway in Virginia. The building will feature eight-thousand square feet of Innovation Glass–engineered curtain walls, to be built with with VS1-A100, our flagship system, and the BS10 aluminum mullion. The VS1 scopes are an entry facade and an outdoor terrace at the second level.

The entry facade is a top-hung 37’ (11.3m) span with the mullions at the wall’s exterior. The typical module width is 5’ (1.5m) and the mullions are 10” (25.4cm) deep and tapered in shape, which reduces their visual profile. A terrace on the side of the building will feature VS1 handrails, a standard detail in the Innovation Glass portfolio.

Innovation Glass is grateful for another opportunity to partner with Service Glass Industries, who installed a wraparound VS1 retail wall on a parking garage in Maryland. SGI will install the VS1 scopes in January of 2026, and Sentinel hopes to finish construction by the end of 2027.
