Developed by SEZ Bio-Tech Services Pvt. Ltd., the SEZ Biotech Project is a notified Special Economic Zone dedicated to biotechnology and life sciences. Strategically located in the Hadapsar–Manjari corridor, the campus offers world-class infrastructure, regulatory advantages, and a future-ready environment for biotech manufacturing, R&D, and innovation. The project is fast emerging as a major hub for India’s growing biotechnology ecosystem.

The campus features high-performance facade and skylight solutions engineered using the VS1-A technology, combining architectural clarity with demanding structural performance.

Two opposing facades, built with the 425mm (16¾”) bullet-shaped mullions, rise to an impressive unsupported height of 16.275m (53’). The mullions are spaced 1400mm (4’ 7”) on-center, and the vertical glass joints are finished using pressure plates and architectural caps. The facade face glass is a 37.52mm (1½") laminated IGU. A 7m (23’) cantilevered canopy is executed on a steel portal system, eliminating diagonal struts for a clean, uninterrupted facade expression. Automated sliding doors seamlessly integrated into the VS1 aluminum portal system.

The project also features a skylight that spans 11.5m (38’) unsupported, with a total span of 22.5m (74’). The skylight, which slopes in a single direction to facilitate efficient water drainage, utilizes the 324mm (12¾") rectangular mullion which supports 37.52mm (1½") laminated IGU face glass.

By integrating advanced facade engineering, long-span skylight design, and premium glass specifications, the SEZ Biotech Project sets a new benchmark for biotech and life-science infrastructure—delivering performance-driven architecture with a strong, contemporary identity.

Facade: 37.52mm laminated IGU comprising 8mm Low-E Silver 40 heat-strengthened outer lite, 16mm air space, and a laminated inner assembly (6mm Clear HS + 1.52 mm PVB + 6 mm Clear toughened).
Skylight: 37.52mm laminated IGU featuring 8mm Low-E Silver 20 HS outer lite, 16mm air space, and laminated inner glass (6mm Clear HS + 1.52mm SGP + 6mm Clear toughened).
