VS1 Passes Miami-Dade High Velocity Hurricane Zone Certification TEST

We are pleased to announce that our VS1-A100 system has successfully passed the most rigorous wind and storm testing standards in the United States: the Miami Dade County Certification. This is a significant accomplishment made possible by the durability of the VS1 system. This simple kit of parts has proven its ability to withstand a full spectrum of conditions, time and time again.

VS1-A100 – Standard point-supported system w/ offset glazing and external patch fitting
Glass Makeup – 1.5” thick
- ¼” tempered (outer lite)
- ½” Air
- ⅜ " tempered - 0.090 SG interlayer - ⅜ ” tempered (inner lite)
Glass Size - 7'-9" x 10'
Sealing – Dual silicone seal using DOW795 for both interior and exterior seal with a backer rod separation in between
Head/Sill – Typical aluminum glazing channel
Jambs – Mullion with hollow jamb closure extrusion
