7.3m (24') curving VS1-G facade

Featherlite Pallavaram is a LEED Gold pre-certified IT/ITES campus located along Chennai’s Radial Road. The project showcases a high-performance facade solution where engineering precision, architectural expression, and sustainability converge to deliver a contemporary commercial environment.

The main entrance lobby features a curved, wave-form glass facade engineered using the VS1-G system with low-iron glass fins and point-supported fittings. The overall facade reaches 7.3m (24’) in height using 25.52mm (1”) thick laminated glass fins, which are cantilevered 4.625m (15’) from the head condition. The fins are spaced 1600mm (5’ 3”), and sliding doors are are integrated utilizing the VS1 aluminum portal plate system.

VS1-G was developed by Innovation Glass to achieve a clean, frameless aesthetic, long spans (including cantilevers), and minimal visual obstructions while meeting structural and performance requirements.
