22' 6" (6.9m) VS1-G200 feature wall

201 N. Tryon, a fixture of the Charlotte, NC skyline, is undergoing a full redevelopment led by Gensler.

VS1-G200 was selected for a second-story feature wall in the renovation project. Maximum transparency was a key design goal, as the facade will enclose a central decorative piece on a new amenity floor. The all-glass wall will 1,030 sq. ft. (95 sq. meters) and supported by 14”-deep, 3-ply laminated glass fins composed of ½” plies and SG interlayers. Spanning 22’ 6” and with module spacing of 5’ 10”, the VS1-G installation will be top-hung and will feature not visible metal.

Innovation Glass is grateful for another opportunity to work with Gensler, and for a second collaboration with Charlotte Glass, who installed the VS1 facade on the Press Glass HQ in Ridgeway, Virginia.
