Our Lady of Montserrat Chapel at Creighton University

VS1-A100 was selected for a 20’ four-sided glass box roof of a new chapel at Montserrat University, a Jesuit school in Omaha. The VS1 installation supports Okalux glass, which features an insert between the IGU’s panes to manage solar gain and interior lighting while also creating a powerful glowing effect to the jewel box facade.
VS1 reduces metal framing by 50% by eliminating horizontals from the facade solution. This dramatically increases glass wall transparency while reducing cost, making it an ideal system for scopes such as this new facade at Creighton University.
