Sloping Sill & Head conditions
VS1 is a stick-built system and our mullions can be cut to any length, thereby accommodating sloping head and sill conditions. The absence of horizontal metal in VS1 curtain walls allows for such sloping conditions to be achieved with a high level of transparency.

CUBIC CORNERS
In addition to standard all-glass corners, VS1 can accommodate an all-glass three-plane corner. Most commonly used at the corner of entry lobbies and vestibules, this detail offers an extraordinary level of transparency to a glass curtain wall scope.

Integrated Operable Vents
Zero sight-line windows are a standard detail in VS1 curtain walls. Typically operated by actuators, these vents integrated seamlessly into the mullion array and create a flush exterior aesthetic while allowing for manual ventilation or integration of a building-wide climate program.

VS1 SIGNATURE DETAILS
LESS METAL, MORE DAYLIGHT
VS1 reduces metal framing by 50% by eliminating horizontals from the facade solution. The VS1 approach to curtain walls employs silicone at the sill, head, and glass joints, dramatically increasing transparency while reducing cost.
Vanishing Sills
VS1 facades can create an a jewel box aesthetic for lobby and street-level scopes by removing the metal at the sill. The result is the glass in its purest form, connecting the indoors and outside world in an unprecedented way.

Clean Glass Joints
VS1 and its lack of metal at the horizontal glass joints empowers designers to create complex glass geometries without compromising on transparency, cost, or ease of installation.
Flexible Head Conditions
VS1 can achieve seamless transitions to skylight scopes with all-glass horizontal joints, and accommodate sloping designs.
